BULK METERING
The management and reading of the bulk supply meter, irrespective of the type of sub metering employed, is essential firstly to check and confirm the bill received from the supply authority and secondly to reconciliate the bulk purchase cost with the income from sales beyond the bulk meter.

The Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system takes control of your consumer meters and does it all remotely with online web access for the customer. A pulse counter can also be installed on any meter with a pulse output and Sigfox radio network coverage.
Prepaid Electricity Metering
STS Prepaid Metering
Prepaid metering with the buying of tokens online or at various national point of sales like your favorite garage or shopping centre. Numbers are punched in on your meter or keypad at home. Not a very clever meter but gets the job done - This is your typical municipal prepaid meter. Unfortunately no solar exporting is available on STS prepaid.
Smart Prepaid Metering
No tokens are required and all data of the meter is online with half an hour usage profiles. A ledger is used for buying power. Meter can also be switched for prepaid to postpaid (credit) metering.
Advantages of prepaid metering is that no billing is required and no payment, no power!

The right meter for the job will measure exactly what you consume and what is sent back to your supply authority (or possibly your neighbour!). There is a big rule book for this game and not all authorities will allow it, but let RNM investigate the matter or talk to the HOA / Body Corporate.

Individual circuits (x28) in the distribution board (power box) can all be measured and then viewed on the internet and with a application. A dashboard is available which can be customized to individual needs. Information is real-time and loads can be switched remotely and automated.
